Rachel is one of the first ewes in our flock which we purchased from the Erk Ranch in South Dakota over 15 years ago.  The fleece is 21.1 micron with a comfort factor of 98.6%, and and exceptional crimp (CRV) value of 118.5.  The staple length is slightly under 3 inches with a very nice crimp. This will make a very nice fleece for a next-to-the-skin project!
 
As with all of our fleeces, this fleece has been heavily skirted and was noodled (rolled in paper to minimize contamination and enable breathing) for storage. The fleece is 5.1 lbs.
