FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Mesta Meadows is proud to host the annual Ozark Highlands Sheep and Fiber Festival. The next festival is on Friday March 21st and Saturday March 22nd, 2025. The event is from 9:00 to 5:00 each day and attendance is free and open to the public!
This is a unique opportunity to see multiple craft vendors, sheep sheering, craft demonstrations, pet sheep and other livestock in the petting zoo, and taste some great food! You won't want to miss this great event. It is free and open to the public. We encourage you to bring your entire family.

We know you love your pet dogs, and we love them too, but we do have to ask that you do not bring them to the farm. We can't guarantee their safety around our animals or our livestock guard dogs who tend to view other dogs as a potential threat to their sheep!

Watch the North American Sheep Sheering Champion
This is a unique opportunity to watch the North American Sheep Shearing Champion - Tony Treondle at work! Tony, a North Dakota native has shorn sheep across North America, Australia and New Zealand. He has won numerous championships including the Calgary Stampede North American Sheep Sheering Championship. Tony will be sheering sheep on both Friday and Saturday so come watch a real pro doing his magic.
